What are your weight-control goals?

To achieve a weight where I feel comfortable with myself, in a sensible timeframe. I'm making a gradual diet and lifestyle change, that allows the occasional 'splurge'.

What is your motivation for losing weight?

To be irresistable to women.

What is your weight-loss method?

Quite simply put, exercise more and eat less. Eating less means less fat and calories, so I've discovered lots of ways of fooling myself (e.g. lots of salad in sandwiches, using any low fat/no fat alternative to butter/margarine). Exercising more was easy - I have a young Labrador cross named Monty, who now gets two 5 km walks at dawn and dusk.

What obstacles have you encountered while losing weight?

The main obstacle was - and is - temptation! Another minor one was the fact that I don't like fruit. I have since discovered fruit smoothies, so I now have a healthy breakfast which I like!

What tips do you have for others who are trying to lose weight?

Don't set unrealistic goals. If you go on a binge and/or put on weight one week, don't give up. Be honest counting calories and exercise, otherwise you're only kidding yourself. The scales will not lie!

How do you feel now that you're achieving success?

Great! I have a new girlfriend who "can't believe" earlier photos of me.

How have the products or services offered by helped you to lose weight?

Absolutely. Just getting the regular email newsletters is a good spur on. I also use the Diet Diary for Windows when I need to. It has helped me to change my routines and learn where my calories are coming from.
