What are your weight-control goals?
I constantly remind myself of where I came from compared to where I am now. I remember all the hard work, sweat, pain and tears that went along with getting to where I am, and I remember how good it felt to reach a mini-goal.
I don't want to stuff-up, so that motivates me and pushes me to strive to want to know what it is like to reach my ultimate goal.
What is your motivation for losing weight?
I was told I would have six months until I developed diabetes because my insulin levels were that of a person with diabetes.
I wanted to prove to people that I was not going to be fat for the rest of my life. I wanted to be able to go shopping with my friends and not wait outside because the clothes in the shops didn't fit me. I was sick of wearing boys clothes; I wanted the confidence to dress nicely and feel pretty.
I plan to have kids one day and I don't want to be the mum that supervises from the side-line - I want to be the mum that joins in.
What is your weight-loss method?
My weight-loss method is to know what you are eating and how much. Spoil yourself occasionally, but not daily like I used to.
Exercise and enjoy it. Find an exercise you love so you are motivated to always do it.
WATER...drink water, water and water!
Write down your goals and glance at them everyday so you are constantly reminded and encouraged.

What obstacles have you encountered while losing weight?
I had an eating disorder and severe depression. I didn't feel worthy - I felt fat, ugly and like I couldn't achieve anything. As I started my journey, my trainer pushed me to work really hard emotionally to change my thinking and learn to love myself. It's the best thing I have ever done for myself in my whole life. I wouldn't change a thing. I'm free from depression and eating disorders and have been for more than two years.
What tips do you have for others who are trying to lose weight?
Never give up! If you fall off the wagon or gain a few kilos, don't beat yourself up. Keep pushing on, keep your eyes focussed on your goal and keep going, even when it's hard.
Don't let others define you - do what you need and you want in order to reach your goal. Don't quit because it's a slow progress and you're after a quick fix - you didn't gain weight overnight, so don't expect to lose it overnight.
Stay strong, stay positive and be proud of your achievements. Even if there is no weight loss, be proud that you are changing your life!
How do you feel now that you're achieving success?
I feel AWESOME! Words can't explain how good I feel. I look back at where I started and I'm a totally different person. I want others to feel this good. I want to encourage others to keep pushing on. I feel worthy of this life and I am forever grateful to my trainer that helped me change my life.
How have the products or services offered by CalorieKing.com.au helped you to lose weight?
I use CalorieKing Australia to monitor my food intake and exercise. CK really opened my eyes to how much I really was eating and taught me how to eat everything in moderation and still remain within calorie limits. I have also found the forums great encouragement and motivation. Thank you :o)
