What obstacles have you encountered while losing weight?
I have found it hard to keep an active social life in between my study and exercise. My family is supportive, but they have tried to keep my weight loss a secret from most of family and friends living abroad, as I would like it to be a surprise when I see them next.
What tips do you have for others who are trying to lose weight?
- Diet and physical activity does work - keep at it.
- Do not buy snack foods.
- Stick to your calorie quota.
- Check your weight regularly.
How do you feel now that you're achieving success?
I feel happier about my self image. I wasn't socially confident before, but that's changed now.
