What were your weight-control goals?My health is the most important thing. I've been big since I was born - I was a 12 pound baby. I reached 90 kilos when I was 16-years-old and I stayed this weight until 2004, when my knees gave me problems. The doctor told me that if I didn't lose weight, I would need a knee operation. I don't like operations, so I decided to lose weight. What motivated you to lose weight?I want to grow old with a healthy body and mind. I want to enjoy activities like healthy people can, such as outdoor activities. I don't want to have any health problems because of being overweight. I want to live longer. What was your weight-loss method?My main weight loss method was counting calories. I believe in calorie input vs calorie output. I've tried nearly every diet without counting calories, but they never worked.
