What are your weight-control goals?
My main goals are to reach and maintain a healthy weight, and never go back to the obese person I have left behind.
What is your motivation for losing weight?
My motivation has been to treat myself the way I deserve. I disliked myself for a long time, and I found it very hard to do what was right for me. I had a "light bulb" moment when watching a DVD of myself singing with my band. I realised that I liked myself a lot, and it was time to look after myself.
What is your weight-loss method?
I use CalorieKing to help me complete a diary of my food intake and exercise level.
I have weekly appointments with my naturopath who weighs and measures me, and does a biological test to see what is changing on the inside, such as how much muscle mass I'm gaining and how much body fat I'm losing.
One of my other methods is the UltraLite program.

What obstacles have you encountered while losing weight?
I made a commitment to stick to this program, and I haven't had any obstacles.
What tips do you have for others who are trying to lose weight?
Lose weight for you and no one else. Try to find the love and respect for yourself that will encourage the shift that makes you want to take care of yourself and feel amazing.
How do you feel now that you're achieving success?
I feel incredible! The clothes that I can now wear have changed the way I look and the way I hold myself. I have much more energy, and I have an overall feeling of wellness!
