A great summer barbecue recipe, perfect for both vegetarian and meat eaters.
1 packet (300 g) firm tofu
2 tomatoes, sliced
1 slab (350 g) Turkish bread, cut inot 4 and split in half lengthways
4 Tbsp barbeque sauce
Cut tofu lengthways into 4 steaks. Grill tofu and tomato slices until golden. Toast Turkish bread slices. Spread Turkish bread with barbecue sauce. Top with grilled tofu and tomato. Place Turkish bread top on. Serve while hot.
