3 cup Vegetarian Italian Sauce recipe
1/3 packet raw wholemeal spaghetti (165g)
Prepare Vegetarian Italian Sauce as directed.
Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil and add spaghetti. Cook until al dente or for 8 to 10 minutes.
Drain and rinse with cold water. Allow 2/3 cup of sauce and 2/3 cup of cooked spaghetti per serve.
Prepare Sauce as directed in original recipe. It is quicker and easier to cook pasta on top of the stove.
Substitute any desired fresh or dried pasta. If parmesan cheese is added, this will increase the kilojoules and sodium content.
