Rhubarb and apple in a delicious combination to warm you inside!

Ingredients:
6 green apples, peeled and sliced
3 cup chopped fresh rhubarb
1/3 cup wholemeal plain flour
1/3 cup almond meal
1/3 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup brown sugar
4 Tbsp light margarine
1/4 cup flaked almonds (optional)
Directions:Combine apple and rhubarb in a microwave dish. Microwave on high for eight minutes, then divide fruit into six small ovenproof dishes.
Sift flour into a mixing bowl. Add almond meal, rolled oats and sugar. Rub margarine into flour mixture.
Sprinkle crumble and flaked almonds over apple and rhubarb. Bake in a moderate oven (180°C) for 40 minutes or until golden.
Variations:
Serves six if made in one large dish.
