Fresh rosemary adds a scrumptious flavour to these tender veal steaks.

Ingredients:

4 lean veal steaks

1 egg, lightly beaten

1 Tbsp milk

1 1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs

1 Tbsp chopped fresh rosemary

1 tsp white pepper

1 flour

1 oil spray


Directions:

Gently flatten veal steaks using a meat mallet. Combine egg and milk. Combine breadcrumbs, rosemary and pepper in a separate container. Coat veal steaks in flour, then egg mixture, then breadcrumb mixture.

Spray steak with olive oil. Cook veal steaks in a non-stick frying pan until tender. Serve immediately.

Variations:

If desired, serve with a fresh, homemade tomato chutney or relish, and steamed seasonal vegetables. Nutritional information does not include serving suggestions.
