Crispy-based pizza topped with beef mince and Italian herbs.

Suggestions:

Try adding pitted black olives and fresh, instead of dried, herbs to the cooked meat topping.

Ingredients:

400 g lean beef mince

1 large pizza base with tomato sauce

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 red capsicum, seeded and finely sliced

2 Tbsp dried Italian herbs

1/2 cup grated Mozarella cheese


Directions:

Preheat oven to 220°C. Spray a frying pan with cooking spray. Heat pan over medium heat, and add onion and capsicum. Cook stirring for 2 minutes.

Add mince, stirring constantly until well browned. Add Italian herbs.

Spoon meat mixture over pizza base and scatter with cheese. Bake for 20 minutes or until pizza base is crisp. Serve hot.

Variations:

Pizza can be served with fresh green salad.
