| My tip is " Eat as naturally as possible, If it ran, swam etc or came from the ground / off a tree. Its almost safe to bet its OK" Anything processed, out of a packet and you have no idea whats in it or how it was made. Dont put it in your mouth. You can go crazy on sugar ideas, fruit, bread, more of this nutrient or more of this one because its good / bad for you but simplicity is the easiest way to make a life long wellbeing choice. Ive heard the warm water with lemon idea, The fruit idea in the morning. I personally do eat a banana in the morning first thing because I get up at 3-4am for work and dont want breaky but mid shift at 6am im starving so a banana in my bag is easy. Its for not additional diet benefit. I then eat a normal breaky around 8am. I also eat the banana because I dont like drinking coffee to give me that kick but getting up at that time in the morning, I need something! Or my eyes are drooping by 6am. Depends on the direction you want to go. Im not that fussed about all the minor details. Some people go mad on eliminating certain sugars or certain types of fats etc. I have had stints where I have gone batty on such things but I give up. Everything in moderation, Naturally as possible, Know what your eating and drink water HW 115kgs SW 113.3 CW 109.7kgs UGW 85kgs H 158cm Goal - Lose 20 kgs to fit into my Wedding Dress 24th March 2012 |
