:cross3:

I've had a pretty bad week, my motivation has been low, I haven't filled out the diary (maybe once or twice this week) and I haven't really been counting the calories...

And I lost half a kilo. :bang:

After such a great start, I think I became too complacent. Gah. This bothers me. I know it's all my fault. I can't really blame anyone else.

So... enough of the doldrums!!

Time to start counting everything, doing all the exercise, filling in the diary and ABSOLUTELY making sure I'm eating all my calories for the day.

This is me: taking action again.

Dammit, I *will* do this!

I'm just a little confused, isn't half a kilo great?

Oh, that's right I forgot, you're one of the minority on here that are trying to gain weight.

Oh well, it's just a setback and you will get there, just remember not to be complacent as you know where that gets you!

I am finding using the diary is far more important to me now I am trying to maintain than when I was trying to lose. I have been making a protein slice SHELLNICO posted here to make up my maintenance calories in a healthier way than ordering pizza

Her recipe:

"Serves: 3 ( I normally double the mix to make 6)

2 tablespoon (20g) Sanitarium Natural Peanut Butter, Crunchy
2 tablespoon (25g) Capilano Honey
1 serving, 3 level scoops (40g) Musashi Protein Drinks Powder, SLM, Fat Metabolising Formula, Vanilla (use any protein powder you like, this is one I'm just using up. Musashi 92 is good also)
2 tablespoon (8g) Coconut desiccated
10 g Almonds, Slivered,Toasted
1 tablespoon (15g) Dried Sultanas, chopped
A dash of water at the end if needed

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. If its too dry add the water slowly. Roll into 3 balls (obviously 6 if doubling the mix). Refrigerate or freeze until needed. You can make so may different variations adding whatever you like. Made like this they are 250cals, 12g protein, 22.4g carbs, 8g sat fat & 17g fat."

We're all pulling for you Jacqui.

You can do this, think of it as a reminder about how important it is to use the diary.
