Just finished a 6 week JumpStart program .....

..... and to be honest, at almost 51 years of age, I wasn't expecting too much.
However, I have lost 5.6kilos and 8cm off my waist measurement!
I also managed to complete the 20minute circuit (the first time I only managed 3 times around) and this time, I completed the whole thing in 16mins 29secs, and I went back in and did a few more reps to motivate another girl.
Also, how's this for an old chook .... I managed 44 pushups in 1 minute!!!! I could only squeeze out 12 when I started, so I am absolutely stoked!!!!

I am so proud of myself, and it has certainly given me motivation to keep going ....

I owe a lot of my success to you people on the CK forums - without your success stories, and motivational advice, I think I would have faltered - the information and support you give is invaluable to people like me .... THANK YOU ONE AND ALL!!

Well done Jann, it's always encouraging to see when you're fitness has improved as you go through a program. Even better when you can see changes in your weight and measurements. I'm doing the 30 day shred dvd and I can see my fitness improving each time. 44 push ups wow! I can only do about 15 at the moment.

Keep up the good work and good luck with your journey.

That is SO impressive! I can't do proper pushups really at all you must be so thrilled. It just shows that age makes no difference. I do swimming and women from the grey army are ALWAYS overtaking me. I am always so impressed at their fitness (and depressed at my lack of speed :) ) Can't wait to see how far you have come in another 6 weeks time.

Goals achieved so far - 23.4 kg
Weight left to lose - 31.6 kg
Next WLG- 85 kg

I feel I was a little remiss in not mentioning that the pushups weren't on my toes, I could only manage them on my knees, but I certainly wasn't in the "box" position, therefore, I am still taking a bow ;)
