Hey everyone

Does anyone know of good online shopping sites to buy some new sports shoes? Overseas ok as long as postage is reasonable.

No brand in particular but I'm hoping to find some black or colourful ones rather than the usual boring styles I can find in stores here.

Thanks!

You really struggle to find black or colourful ones in store? I currently have one bright blue pair, one bright green pair, and one black pair with neon blue highlights. Sometimes buying in the mens style leads to more colour choices. I just ask them if the model I like comes in other colours and sometimes they have some that aren't on display. But yeah I never have dramas finding something bright and visually appealing.

I do! I always look at the men's styles with jealousy, but my tiny size 5 or 5.5 foot usually rules them out for me :)

I have actually just seen the Nike Run Free in lots of different colours - that's the kind of shoes I'm going for. Maybe I just need to try some new stores...

Oh that sucks. I am a size 9 in womens now thanks to my orthodics that have added a size to my foot. So that's a 7, 7 1/2 in mens, and that is the lowest size.

Though if i ever lost my orthodics I'd be screwed, none of my shoes would fit!!

And yes, the womens styles are lame. I feel your pain. Try rebel sport. They generally have a ridiculous number of shoes, try the bargin bins. I found a 300 dollar pair of amazing asics gel racers in there, I think put in by accident, but the staff were too un-shoe-educated to know any better and sold them to me for 95 dollars.

Heaps of colours and styles and pretty reasonably priced :)

Having gigantic feet, I find wiggle run out of my sizes pretty quick, but I also don't have any problems buying mens shoes.
I generally go into a store to get fitted, and buy them online. Usually saves me about 30%, sometimes even 50%

+ 1 for www.wiggle.co.uk/ although I have only bought clothing from them rather than shoes. Google the brand you want and you should come up with a few more options. Need to get your size right though otherwise you'll be up for return postage.

Careful buying Free Runs as I have seen some sites offering fakes.

I don't mind if they're fakes, I just need decent shoes. My PT bought a pair off the buycoo site and they look pretty good he loves them :) mine have been in Sydney since Saturday so they should arrive today or tomorrow I hope :) I'll let you know if they're real or not as to whether you'd like to buy off that site Kate :)

Endless shoes. com US, supported by amazon, I have found they are cheaper than wiggle, usually have delivery 7 working days, always arrive on the date stated. I spent over $100 my delivery cost was nil.

Got my Nike Free Run shoes, wore them for the first time yesterday. AMAZING. So comfortable, they slip on like gloves (no movable tongue) and apparently have a little chip in the bottom that can sync with a Nike iphone app to track you while you're out walking/running :) (I hope they make an android one, as I couldn't find one in the app store to work with it)

I love them. Got them in purple. $40 for the shoes, $52 shipped. Best purchase - I'd recommend them. Also, I emailed to ask for sizing help and got one back very quickly.

:)
